
I recently had jalapeno poppers that were topped with bacon at my office Christmas Party and they were so good that I had to replicate them. Instead of topping each popper with a slice of bacon I decided to wrap them in bacon.
Ingredients
12 jalapenos, sliced in half, seeds and ribs removed
250g container of cream cheese
6 bacon strips, sliced in half
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F
Fill jalapeno halves with cream cheese
Wrap jalapeno halves with a slice of bacon and secure bacon with 1 or 2 toothpicks
Bake for 25-28 minutes until bacon is crispy
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving
