Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

I recently had jalapeno poppers that were topped with bacon at my office Christmas Party and they were so good that I had to replicate them. Instead of topping each popper with a slice of bacon I decided to wrap them in bacon.

Ingredients

  • 12 jalapenos, sliced in half, seeds and ribs removed

  • 250g container of cream cheese

  • 6 bacon strips, sliced in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Fill jalapeno halves with cream cheese

  3. Wrap jalapeno halves with a slice of bacon and secure bacon with 1 or 2 toothpicks

  4. Bake for 25-28 minutes until bacon is crispy

  5. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving
